This time really, really is Fred’s Birthday and we’re not just pretending! The entire playroom is buzzing with excitement and all of our playroom friends are ready to celebrate – our word of the day – in style!In honor of Fred’s birthday, Polka Dots’ has an all new Birthday Party Puzzle Surprise! With treasure hunt style riddles, Fred, Blue, and the Home Viewer are led throughout the playroom in search of birthday presents. Inside each present is another riddle which, in the end, lead us to Fred’s birthday surprise a new, fancy birthday crown!Dress Up Chest has a special Birthday book for Fred entitled Little Gorilla , by Ruth Lercher. Our characters each play a part (costumes and all) in the story with Fred playing Little Gorilla. Boogie Woogie has a whole new song and dance – Do’in the Fred – for all of us to play and celebrate with Fred.Fred couldn’t be happier with all of her Birthday festivities (and of course, can’t wait for it to be her birthday again!)The Fairy Tale BallAs Joe greets us, a very special Invitation arrives at the door. It’s an invitation to the Fairy Tale Ball! And all our favorite fairy tale characters will be there. We skidoo into Fairy Tale Land and start playing Blue’s Clues to figure out who Blue is excited to see at the Ball. Along the way, we meet Little Red Riding Hood, and then the Three Little Pigs, who need help blowing on their houses to figure out which is the strongest. We then run into Jack, who needs help watering his magic beans and growing a beanstalk so his friend Giant can come to the ball too. Our next stop is at the Prince’s castle, where we help him find Cinderella’s glass slipper and then figure out who it fits so he can find his lady love and ask her to the ball. Finally, we arrive at the spectacular Fairy Tale Ball and meet Humpty Dumpty, the answer to Blue’s Clues!In Blue’s Room: We play our own Fairy Tale Ball where we get to be the horse to Blue’s Humpty Dumpty, and sing a song with Fred (as Little Red Riding Hood) and Polka Dots, Roary, and Dress Up (as The Three Little Pigs) about all our favorite fairy tales.Format: DVD MOVIE
