What Women Want

In What Women Want, Mel Gibson stars as Nick Marshall, a charming, irrepressible bachelor living on the A-list of life, thinking he has the world on a string. Then, one night, his string begins to unravel when an unexpected jolt leaves his ears and eyes open to even more than he ever imagined possible. Now, hot shot advertising executive and self-proclaimed God’s gift to women, he realizes that not only is he not God’s gift to women, but every woman in his life thinks he’s pretty much of a jerk. Slowly, Nick begins to realize that he can use this special gift to his advantage, and immediately begins to apply his distinctive ability to Darcy McGuire (Helen Hunt), his beautiful, talented and unsuspecting new boss. Resentful that Darcy was hired to bring new business to the ad agency from the untapped women’s market, a job Nick would love to be his, he resolves to use his special powers to hear Darcy’s thoughts and undermine her to get the job he believes he was destined to have.
